Melissa, a Tasty Southern Belle

Dr D: Tell us the truth Melissa, you're really an alien sent here to make Earth Girls feel inferior, right?

Melissa: Nope! Born and raised in Baton Rouge, La. That's right, a true Southern Belle, who knows how to cook great Cajun food!

Dr D: So, you live here on Earth now. Guys who visit my site don't really care how you got here, just where they can go to find you.

Melissa: Louisiana. I plan to eventually move to L.A. to pursue my career but I feel that I would miss this place so incredibly much. I travel a lot being a model and no food anywhere can replace true Creole cooking. (In case you haven't noticed by now, I love Louisiana food!) I Love Louisiana, there is so much culture here, Mardi Gras, the food, New Orleans, History, etc. It was a lot of fun I must say growing up here. Did I mention the food? That is definitely one of the best things about living here. I had an absolute blast growing up here!!

Dr D: You're certainly feeding some of our fantasies.

Dr D: Where have the photographers been hiding you?

Melissa: I fell into modeling about a year and a half ago. Someone asked me to be a website model and I happened to know a photographer, he told me I was very photogenic and thought that I would do great at it. Sure enough, he was right. I have always dreamed of being in the entertainment field; actress, professional dancer... just in the public eye. I always dreamed of one day becoming famous and I think that the modeling has given me a great jump start on furthering my career into acting and other avenues.

Dr D: After five or ten minutes of study, I notice there is a doll in the shot above. Amazing what they can hide in pictures. What kinds of photo shoots have you done?

Melissa: These are just a few things I have done on the internet but I am constantly working on new projects with photographers all the time!

Dr D: Do you have any extra time to fool around?

Melissa: Well, I love to model and be in front of the camera, I enjoy surfing the internet, watching TV (E! True Hollywood Story is my favorite!), spending time with my dog, reading, shopping (of course, I'm a girl!), and spending time with my husband.

Dr D: Damn. I suppose he'll read this and sic the dog on me. Time to change the subject. I believe you mentioned food?

Melissa: Anything Cajun! Especially boiled crayfish or crabs and crayfish etufee. I pretty much eat whatever I want and don't gain a pound. I do workout every now and again. I used to workout all the time. I guess I just have a high metabolism, which is a good thing!!

Dr D: So you're saying you don't get hot and sweaty?

Melissa: I rarely go to the gym nowadays, I have a friend who has a stairmaster, bike, and abroller at her house so I will use that. Then at home I do crunches all the time (gotta keep a flat tummy!) and do some roman deadlifts with a barbell for a nice round backside and nice hamstrings and calves.

Dr D: Right. Sorry, I'm having trouble concentrating. Are you an outdoor type?

Melissa: Depends; indoor mostly. With my dog, outdoors, I play with him every afternoon in my backyard (I have a black lab so he is very active), take him swimming, car rides, the works, he is so spoiled, but he's my baby! As far as outdoors goes, I am a total girly-girl, yes I am afraid of bugs, ANY kind, I am not into camping and stuff like that. Too many bugs, LOL, at least around here anyway!

Dr D: Lucky Dog.

Dr D: Is there anything that annoys you? I mean aside from Bloggers who are terminally distracted?

Melissa: SLOW DRIVERS!!! I go on modeling trips all the time and if they around the gulf coast I will drive for some reason people in Louisiana love to hog the left lane and go about 40 on the interstate, ugghh, drives me crazy! I cant stand slow drivers.

Dr D: My guess is that they're just trying to keep you in the rear view mirror. Any suggestions for our viewers who want to attract your attention?

Melissa: Confidence, Personality, Humor, Romantic, Attractiveness- I like to see that a man takes care of himself physically, Generosity, Good Listener, Politeness, and in general being an all around gentleman, you know, open the doors for me, treat me like a lady.

Dr D: It would certainly seem to be worth the effort. If you could solve one of the world's problems, what would it be?

Melissa: Get Bush out of office and Kerry in. I bet I offend a lot of people on that one, sorry, just my personal opinion.

Dr D: Well, there goes my complimentary subscription to "Conservative Blogger." But, it wouldn't surprise me if both of them enjoyed your work.

Dr D: Speaking of which, what kinds of work do you want to do in the future?

Melissa: Fashion, Glamour, Artistic, Fine Art, Artistic Nudes, Fine Art Nudes, Glamour Nudes, Editorial, Commercial, Print, Advertising. My ultimate goal would be to make it to the pages of Playboy. It has been my dream for a long time now and hopefully one day it will come true for me.

Dr D: I'll notify Hef immediately. Oh! I almost forgot to ask. Where did you go to school?

Melissa: I graduated H.S. in Gonzales, La. (about 20 mins outside of BR), where I was a member of Who's Who Among American High School Students for 3 years. I was on my high school dance team and college dance team. I then attended Southeastern Louisiana University for a few years and completed my general studies, then transferred to Our Lady of the Lake University, which is like a small medical school for RN's, etc. I received a degree in Emergency Health Sciences. I also graduated with a 4.0 GPA, was on the Presidents List, Epsilon Mu Theta, honors Student and was on my college's Student Government as a house representative.

Dr D: I should have known you were more than just another pretty face. Anything else you'd like to say?
